It's getting smallerTo observe: a 8266 in Wemos D1 Mini format, on top a power connector shield, on top an OLED shield. Next to that tower on the base a SHT31 sensor. Initially the sensor was on another D1 shield as part of the tower but in that location it produced strange readings. So I moved it out. But even here it shows 2° more than
multiple comparable sensors I had placed close-by.
So I put a longer cable there and the sensor at the end of that. Result: 2° lower temperature and accordingly higher humidity. Looks good that way!
For the house, assuming I stick with the WiFi solution, I will put just the Wemos MC board into a flush-mounted socket, together with a PSU, and have the sensor slightly stick out of the wall behind some yet-to-be-designed cover.
That's the plan so far.
